After almost 20 years on Adelaide Street, Hy’s is delighted to announce the opening of a new location at Wildeboer Dellelce Place, 365 Bay St. in the summer of 2019.
Since opening on Richmond Street in 1970, Hy’s Steakhouse has been a major player in Toronto’s financial district. In 1999, Hy’s moved to the current location on Adelaide Street where its soaring ceilings, elegant décor and vibrant ambiance welcomed Bay St. professionals, locals and tourists with unparalleled service and the best Canadian Prime steaks. With the expiry of its current lease, Hy’s on Adelaide will close at the end of 2018.
The new, multi-level, 350+ seat restaurant on Bay Street, designed by Elaine Thorsell of Vancouver’s BOTI Design, will continue the great Hy’s legacy in downtown Toronto.
“Toronto is an incredibly important market for Hy’s,” said Neil Aisenstat, President and CEO, Hy’s of Canada. “We are saddened to leave our existing location where so many wonderful memories have been made, but our new Bay St. restaurant will take Hy’s opulence to a new level. The design is in keeping with the luxury and quality associated with the Hy’s brand. We are confident our guests will be thrilled to experience our new restaurant, and we can’t wait to welcome them.”
Don’t miss dining at Hy’s Adelaide Street one last time! Be sure to make a reservation before we close at the end of December 2018.
