In September we proudly celebrated Hy’s Calgary’s 10th anniversary at the CORE. Of course, Calgary is where it all began back in 1955, and in 2014 we moved to our beautiful home in the heart of downtown. Not many restaurants can brag about such longevity, and we’ll take every opportunity to do so. The party was extra special as we acknowledged GM Barb Steen’s coming retirement, and the arrival of GM-to-be Vince Leroux. About 350 guests, suppliers, friends and family enjoyed curated cocktails, delectable canapes, live music from our friend Bryant Olender, and an all-round festive evening.
